Website of the Month.

Hello readers, 

       I have recently been looking around for a fun website about science and other fun things. I found this website called http://www.science20.com. From what I have seen, it is a forum type website where scientists “blog” about news in their field of work. At the top of the website there is a bar of categories where when you put your mouse over the categories you get the sub fields. So you can totally find what you are interested in.  For example if you hate the social sciences and love microbiology, you can just go under life sciences and click microbiology. You don’t have to read anything you don’t want to. I strongly recommend you check this out if you are interested in science. 

Currently without electricity & other things on my agenda.

Due to the recent hurricane i the east coast where I live I am without power and have to stay with my uncle. Not that I don’t enjoy his company or vice verse. It is just the fact that I am estranged from my personal belongings. I currently am off from school because my school doesn’t have any power. The news says that the schools will have power by Monday but I beg to differ. I have been without power for six days and so far I am hating every bit of it. I do have all my essential items of course. I am sleeping on the floor with my brother on a carpeted floor in a room that has one slanted wall that seems to have some sort of attraction with my cranium. I have fell numerous of times from a blow to head by that wall. That is what is currently going on in my life as of now. Will be posting later about my postponed cell biology state lab.

Zombie or Just Infected?

           So i have been thinking about the zombies/infected in 28 Days/Weeks Later. When it comes down to the zombies/infected part I am going to have to go with the infected due to the fact that if they were zombies they would have to be dead. The dead are well, dead and are more realistic in the AMC series The Walking Dead because of the decomposition and slow speed. The infected in the 28 movies do not have the characteristics of the general zombies. The infected have significant strength and speed which aren’t characteristics of the dead obviously.

Conclusion: The flesh hungry humans in the 28 movies are infected not dead.

Playstation 4 & Xbox 720?


The Playstation 4 & Xbox 720 have been rumors circulating and the one thing people haven’t been to focused on is the date. Well my best estimate from my sources is around 2014 from what i’ve been told. The features on the other hand are hard to improve because these machines are awesome and not much to improve. One thing for xbox is that the whole thing whenever you walk by it the disk tray will open. On the subject of the disk tray maybe microsoft will make a sort of superdrive like what you see on the mac or the ps3.

For the ps4 the most i want to see is the model redesigned because the texture of it now really attracts dust and i have to constantly clean it. I will also like to see more USB’s on the xbox and the playstation.
These systems don’t need that much improvement but I will like to see a refresh on the products even though I just got a ps3. Fail.

Macbook Air 15 Inch


The Macbook Air 15 inch is a rumor going around. Yes it would be a good idea because some people don’t like the 11 or 13 inch. But if it was me getting a Macbook Air I would get the 11 inch because the Macbook pro doesn’t have that feature and it would be great just to throw in my backpack and go. The weight is also great and convenient. The 15 inch would be great to have as a home laptop. It would be great if the 15 would have a super drive and maybe some more USB’s because the 13 and 11 inch only have like one.

Stop SOPA!!!

Okay so SOPA is basically a thing to stop the online piracy act. If you go onto google.com then you can see the big black out of the google sign which is googles way of protesting the piracy act. Wikipedia is doing this thing when you go on the site that you can select you zip code and email or even tweet congressmen to #StopSOPA. I did it about 10 times. Don’t Judge. I hope this doesn’t happen because if it did then…..well you know that the internet is my life so you could imagine the fear in my eyes or the reflection of my computer screen on my glasses. Okay I will stop. So make sure to protest this on twitter, Facebook, or even email a congressman or women. #StopSOPA

New MacBook Pro RUMORS!!!

Okay so there is rumors that there will be new Macbook pros coming in 2012! That is exciting because there wasn’t really a redesign since I think 2008. I can’t wait till they release it! I really have no idea what the redesign will look like because the Macbook pro is so good-looking I don’t know how apple can improve the looks of it. More info soon if any more rumors are revealed.

My Setup.

Okay so a lot of people like to see people’s “set ups” of people’s computers, desks, laptops etc. So I decided why not just put this up on my website. So ENJOY it!

okay so in the photo above you see my entire set up of my macs, printer, desk, and storage. This is what it all looks like so yeah. In the photos below are more detailed close up photos of certain sections.

Alright so this is a photo of where I put my laptop. My laptop is elevated on my printer from this shelf that came with my desk so I took the shelf off and turns out it is conveniently shaped in a way that I like. I charge my laptop on here but usually just take it on my bed.

Okay so here is where i put wires, iPhone cases, random junk, and some iPad cases. Nothing special I just store things here. LOL

So here is where I put my mac on this wooden file storage thing which I don’t use. I recently just got this mac on amazon! It works as a home computer mostly. I use my Macbook pro for more major things because it is more advanced as you can see.

so you see that I put my digital storage on top of my mac tower. I use a 500GB Toshiba portable hard drive and a 4GB SD card. I also have a 1GB but I don’t use it that much.

Here is my monitor, keyboard, mouse and desk. I do have a monitor stand which I love because you have a lot more space. I have a Dell Monitor. It sucks. It is LCD and silver. I mean it’s okay but I would rather have an apple monitor.

So here is my apple keyboard & mouse. I do have this nice memory form mouse pad that I got for christmas which is just awesome. I got the apple mouse and keyboard just a few weeks ago actually.

TV or Monitor?


Hey guys I’ve just hooked up my mac to my monitor and it look amazing. You have to adjust the display settings but when you d it looks great. I did this by getting the apple mini display port to VGA cable. I thought I bought this other brand but when it came in the mail it was the apple version. When I was on amazon it was like $30.00 for the apple version but I got it for $6.00. So over all it was worth it. I do use this monitor as my TV as well. I also hook it up to my apple TV to. Hope you enjoyed this update!
